What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

  • Ensure timely quality reporting to the Group Company providing adequate feedback to questions raised by HQ Finance Team;
  • Perform analytical reviews for their specific areas of responsibility for inclusion within the overall Finance review;
  • Identification and resolution of General Ledger problems within their specific area of concentration;
  • Preparation and validation of data for areas of individual responsibility as they pertain to Month end, Quarter end and Annual Closing;
  • Responsible for the correctness of the G/L entries in compliance with the nVent Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local GAAP requirements;
  • Analyze actual results to reconcile financial accounts, taking responsibility for all balances and resolution of queries;
  • Review and assess the teams responsibilities on a weekly basis and adjust the team’s tasks depending on the workload;
  • Provide feedback, coaching, training and guidance to the coordinated team, to take mentoring role, to challenge and develop employees by setting objectives aligned with Company’s goals.
  • Provide accounting advice and guidance to other departments (e.g. order processing, controlling);
  • Responsible for best practice research, recommendations and implementations.

You have:

  • Academic background in :
  • University Degree specializing in Finance/Accounting
  • Previous experience in or with :
  • 6-9 years in accounting across all General Ledger processes Experience of US GAAP and IFRS;
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor;
  • Skills :
  • In-depth accounting knowledge;
  • MS Office (advanced excel skills);
  • Fluent English;
  • Proactive behavior;
  • Ability to communicate confidently, with clarity both downwards and upwards and with stakeholders in country and internationally;
  • Process improvement oriented;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Organizational, time-management, decision-making skills;
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment;
