Description:
Robert Half is seeking an Accountant. The Accountant position is a core member of the Finance team of a fast-growing medical device manufacturing company located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role is fully onsite 100%. The Accountant will work closely with the CFO and be heavily involved in general ledger, month-end close, treasury and team collaboration, as well as oversight for accounts receivable and payable. This role is fully onsite and pay up to $32/hr.

Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Direct the activities of accounts payable by auditing and approving vendor invoices and ensuring data entry into financial software.
Reconcile vendor account balances.
Approve weekly cash disbursements.
Assist internal business partners with requests.
Administer the expense reimbursement system.
Accounts Receivable
Produce efficient and accurate client invoicing and accounting.
Perform timely cash collection.
Promote positive customer relationships.
Maintain customer digital master files and the business system.
Own monthly ACH receipts program.
Maintain sales tax rates file and sales tax returns.
General Ledger
Full-charge month-end close.
Account reconciliations.
Enter Journal entries.
Responsible for accurate and detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Calculate accruals.
Produce and distribute management report.
Provide financial and tax audit support.
Treasury
Process check, ACH and wire payments as required.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
- Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Cl Programming is beneficial
- Experience with Concur is essential
- Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is compulsory
- Proficiency in Accounting Functions is mandatory
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must
- Prior experience in Auditing is desirable
- Ability to manage Balance Sheet Accounts is required
