Description:
As a recruiting firm specializing in the accounting sector, we’re seeking a diligent Financial Accountant on behalf of our client. This role, centrally positioned within the company, will be instrumental in overseeing essential financial operations while reporting directly to the Controller.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTANT POSITION:
Candidates should hold at the minimum a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role, familiarity with financial reporting and tax compliance, and exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills are required.

Responsibilities:
Supports the Controller in distributing precise financial management reports, including internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and budgets.
Manages the disbursement department, ensuring prompt and accurate handling of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll, and compliance with corporate payroll tax.
Leads the operations of the accounts receivable department, guaranteeing prompt and accurate management of all accounts receivable components like billings and cash receipts applications.
Works in conjunction with the Controller to ensure timely completion and compliance of corporate income tax returns, keeping up with all pertinent changes to tax codes.
Preserves and enhances the organization’s value through the maintenance of systems and controls, which uphold the integrity of all systems, processes, and data.
Delivers excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and resolving issues pertinent to the finance/accounting department.
Promptly and accurately attends to leadership and team members’ inquiries or requests related to the financial aspects of their projects.
Contributes to special projects and generates special reports as required.
Upholds professional and respectful communication with colleagues, management, clients, and others.
Observes and complies with all company regulations, policies, and work procedures.
Balances other duties as assigned by management.
