Accountant

We are in search of an Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves a mix of analytical work and operational tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our accounting department and ensuring accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

• Review and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and review inventory records for accuracy.
• Handle light payroll duties to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, requiring strong Excel skills.
• Conduct analytical work to support decision-making processes.
• Perform operational tasks as needed to support the accounting team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure consistent processing volume ranging from 300 to 1 million per month.
• Proficiency in accounting functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Balance Sheet Accounts
• Skills in account reconciliation
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
