We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in North Chesterfield, Virginia. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate financial operations, manage accounts, and assist in regulatory compliance activities. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

• Accurately track, report, and reconcile company revenue.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and financial statements.
• Efficiently manage a majority of Accounts Receivable tasks as well as some Accounts Payable activities.
• Assist in the preparation and review of sales tax to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for various tasks.
• Employ knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in managing accounting functions.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties.
• Conduct auditing tasks when required.
• Use Cl Programming and Concur tools in relevant tasks.
• Balance Sheet Account management.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of Accounting Software Systems
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Competent in Cl Programming
• Experience with Concur software is essential
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is desired
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions efficiently
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Knowledge of Auditing processes and principles is crucial
• Ability to accurately manage Balance Sheet Accounts
• Must be able to work independently and in a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
• Must possess excellent time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is needed
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA, is preferred.
