Our company, listed on NASDAQ as MOMO, has recently established a regional headquarters in Singapore and is looking to fill several key roles in our organization. This is an exciting time to make an impact and be at the frontline of our company’s growth.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team and support our Finance Manager in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations.

The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TREASURY

• Open and manage bank accounts for cash collection and payments.
• Handle daily cash collections and payments, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Maintain relationships with local banks and explore new opportunities.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, cash budgets, and cash flow reports.
• Research and recommend financial products available in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ACCOUNTING

• Enter cost and expense data into the ERP system and verify supplier invoices.
• Reconcile bank statements and record bank-related charges and interest.
• Prepare financial statements and coordinate with auditors.
• Communicate with banks for account management and settlements.
• Review commercial contracts from an accounting perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TAXATION

• Assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns (CIT, GST, WHT, etc.).
• Stay updated on Singapore tax policies and their impact on the business.
• Research and apply for local tax incentives.
• Assist in managing tax audits and inquiries, and respond to IRAS and auditors.
• Research tax implications of business activities in different regions.
• Coordinate with Big4, regional, and HQ tax teams on significant projects.
