The Accountant needs to manage ad-hoc activities in addition to regular tasks. Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

  • Minimum of a Bacherlor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • or several years of relevant work experience in similar function(s);
  • Fluency in English and German is required, proficiency in additional language such as Dutch is an advantage;
  • Experience working with Infoniqa One 50 (previously Sage) and / or other accounting software is a plus;
  • Must be eligible to work in Switzerland;
  • In-depth understanding of the company’s operations and those of our clients;
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting and tax regulations;
  • Good social and communication skills;
  • Problem solving and decision-making aptitude,
  • Self-motivated, hands on, and able to work both independently and as a part of an international and multicultural team.
  • Have a commercial mindset and ability to identify and pursue business opportunities

Responsibilities:

For our rapidly expanding office in Zurich, we are looking for an Accountant (60-80% PT) for our Corporate Expansion and Private Wealth Solutions team. The Accountant will report directly to the Managing Director and works closely with the Corporate Expansion and Private Wealth Solutions team members locally and globally to assist our clients with accounting and tax compliance matters. The Accountant is expected to continuously develop both personally as well as professionally and contribute to our office.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Manage the financial administration for our corporate and private clients;
  • Prepare annual, monthly, and quarterly reporting for our clients;
  • Prepare and file tax declarations;
  • Handle payroll preparation;
  • Set-up and maintain financial administrations, databased and other reporting systems;
  • Monitor client company transactions;Ensure close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, notaries, and other external parties to gather the required information for reporting purposes;
  • Oversee internal finance matters for our local office in collaboration with the CFOAdministrative handling of various legal and financial documents;
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
