Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our company. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Overseeing payroll processing and compliance.
  • Completing BAS, GST, and tax returns.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA/CA qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
