Job Description:
- Ensure full compliance with Finance Manual
- Responsible for all book keeping and accounting
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of incoming funds and outgoing expenses
- Close accounts in a timely manner at monthly intervals following standard operating procedures
- Liaise with External Auditors and board members in charge of finance and audit for accounts review
- observe standard processes for all aspects of accounting including but not limited to accounts receivables and accounts payable, petty cash
- GST reporting ,payments and claims for refund.
- IRAS reporting , proper issue of receipts for tax deductible donations and non tax deductible donations.
- Ensure segregations and proper management of funds for Endowment and General Purposes.
- Ensure segregation and proper management of bank accounts for collection of donations and payment of expenses
- Operate system of Petty Cash safekeeping and reimbursement
- Responsible for timely staff payroll and staff leave , staff insurance
- Prepare management reports
- Treasury management
- Responsible for VIVA’s finance and accounting operations
- Responsible for maintaining integrity and up to date and proper use of software programmes relating to financial and accounting matters
- Keep and track list of inventory and assets of VIVA
- Ensuring proper records of all donors and issue of receipts for them
- Responsible for IPC and CoC compliance reporting
- Report issues to the CFO and CEO
- Manage filing system
Job requirement:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Experience with Quickbook is advantageous
