Job Description
The Accountant will report to the Finance Shared Services Centre Manager and will be primarily responsible for the management and reporting of the company’s financial data.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or global multinational companies is preferred.
  • Proven financial analysis skills with experience in month-end review and analysis of P&L and BS.
  • Experience with budgeting, cash forecasts, and creating financial statements.
  • Proficiency in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Excellent user and administrative skills in accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in managing supplier payments.
  • Good knowledge and practice of accounting and financial techniques (IFRS standards and local accounting and tax rules).
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes for internal control and procedural efficiency.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial information systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and report financial data accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform month-end review and analysis of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets (BS).
  • Handle budgeting and cash forecasts, and create financial statements.
  • Manage general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in supplier payments.
  • Adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting and tax rules.
  • Organize and plan periodic account closing processes and meet accounting and tax deadlines.
  • Maintain internal control and procedural efficiency in accounting and financial processes.
  • Utilize accounting and financial information systems effectively.
