Our client (a reputable hair and beauty salon) is in search of an Accountant who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the salon’s financial operations. As an Accountant, you are expected to liaise with management to develop financial strategies for growth, improve financial performance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and identify ways to increase salon profitability. You will implement best accounting practices across all levels and provide insights to support decision-making.
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Working Hours: Monday - Saturdays (9 AM-7 PM)
Salary: 200,000

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.

Experience:

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial records.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with legal tax regulations.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide insights for improvement.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage relationships with key financial vendors and track vendor pricing and service levels.
