Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting / Admin Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role our accounting department by performing various administrative and accounting tasks. This position requires strong customer service skills, proficiency in Quick Books systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly within a lodge setting.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an accounting office or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with data entry processes and computerized accounting systems is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 applications (Docs, Sheets, etc.) for documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality output of financial documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational skills

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 5 years (required)
  • Administrative experience: 5 years (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date.
  • Assist with filing and organizing documents related to accounts payable and receivable and all admin duties.
  • Administer payroll and do accounting reconciliations
  • Proofread financial documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from clients and staff regarding billing or account issues.
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 and other software tools to manage information and streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure seamless communication.
