Description:
We are a Professional Accounting & Organizational Management company that works closely with business owners from a wide variety of industries to build and maintain strong financial reporting & infrastructure.
We are looking for career minded full-time accounting administrators to join our team in providing Bookkeeping, Accounting and Business management services.
*We work remotely with initial training done in our Burnaby office.
Responsibilities and Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Full cycle Accounting including: bank and credit card reconciliations, invoicing, accounts receivable and financial statements.
- Payroll, T4s, WCB, GST, PST, T5018 reporting.
- Client accounting systems/processes development & implementation
- Client relations and correspondence via email, phone, online (Zoom & Teams) meetings may be required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- You love numbers and have a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail, you are self motivated, efficient with an ability to prioritize tasks
- Post secondary Accounting diploma/Certificates/Degree required and/or in progress
- Strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principals
- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience an asset
- Quick learner of new software and systems in general
- Experience with QuickBooks Online & Desktop accounting software an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, word, outlook etc.
- Organized, detailed oriented, self-motivated and efficient
- Fast & accurate typing skills
- Effective communication skills both verbal and writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and fun loving!
Hourly rate dependant on qualifications and skills; with ample room for professional development, mentoring and wage increases as skills develop. Extended benefits plan.
