OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role has the possibility of becoming a full-time position and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and business analysis under the guidance of experienced professionals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • A demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Kantata, and HubSpot
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance

Responsibilities:

AS AN ACCOUNTING ANALYST YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Financial Record Management
  • Reconciliation & Reporting
  • Process Improvement & Compliance

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Handle routine inquiries and provide support to internal stakeholders regarding financial matters
