JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in developing your professional skill as the accountant in the Global Supplier Services? The this role is for you.
As an Accounting Analyst within the Global Supplier Service Reconciliation team, you will engage in a variety of areas ranging from finance and risk to human resources and marketing. You will play a crucial role in the company, contributing to the success of our businesses, clients, customers, and employees. Your responsibilities will include managing the source-to-pay cycle, interacting with suppliers, negotiating contracts, conducting risk assessments, and evaluating the customer experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Good attention to detail & problem solving skills, and outstanding analytical, organizational and research skills with attention to details
  • Degree or significant previous equivalent work experience in accounting
  • Ability to interact with both line of businesses and finance teams independently
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Good MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:

  • SAP knowledge will be value added

Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily reconciliations of Bank accounts, Account Payables liability accounts, Balance sheet accounts, Indirect Tax accounts & other control accounts
  • Ensures accurate accounting & completeness in transfer of accounting from product systems to the general ledger
  • Partners with other operations teams and business stakeholders to ensure any accounting breaks are investigated in a timely manner and resolved
  • Supports other operational teams to ensure there are no upstream or downstream issues with the transactions
  • Participates in a culture of continuous improvement with focus on improving processes & delivery efficiency as well as a world class customer experience
  • Supports reporting requirements for legal entity & business finance controllers
  • Participates in working groups supporting strategic platform changes
