Description:
Position Summary:
The Accounting and Admin Clerk is part of the Finance and Human Resources department, which has primary responsibilities in General accounting and Human Resources, administration, payroll, and full-cycle bookkeeping. The position is a core component of CMHA Hamilton’s objectives in enhancing mental health initiatives and is expected to be part of developing the department’s operations.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent business-focused education
- Excellent organization, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage and thrive in a high-volume, deadline-based work environment
- Related accounting and administrative experience a plus
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to offer French- Language services is an asset
