Description:
This is a key opportunity to join the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and contribute to the efficient management of our financial and administrative functions. The role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of invoicing, cash flow management, and accounting support within our dynamic organization. Please note that this is a part-time position (80%).
What is the role?
As the Accounting and Administrative Assistan t, you will be responsible for supporting financial processes, improving cash flow management, and providing essential accounting and administrative support. You will report to the Head of Legal and Accounting and work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial operations and documentation.

Responsibilities:
Invoicing and Cash Flow Management
Enhance and implement invoicing procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Improve time-to-payment processes to maintain a consistent cash flow.
Administer and reconcile the management accounting system.
Onboarding and Bookkeeping
Onboard new payees and payors
Identify and resolve issues related to invoicing, late payments, and general bookkeeping.
Ensure cash flows align with budgetary expectations.
Reporting and Documentation
Develop and implement efficient management accounting reports.
Prepare internal financial reports for board meetings and ad-hoc requests.
Collect, review, and manage AML/KYC documents.
Accounting and Legal Support
Provide accounting and legal support for the onboarding of new companies.
Review, comment on, and prepare contracts and addendums.
The person we are looking for will likely have the following attributes:
Experience in accounting, administration, or a related field.
An understanding of invoicing procedures and cash flow management.
Some proficiency in management accounting systems and financial reporting.
Some experience in contract preparation and review.
Some Knowledge of AML/KYC requirements and documentation.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in english and french.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
