PROFILE

EMVO is looking for someone with the skills and qualities to carry out EMVO’s accounting and financial processes. We are therefore looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:

  • You hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • You have a very good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • You are proficient in accounting systems (e.g. Sage, WinBooks, Bob) and the MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience and proficiency with Sage 100 is a plus.
  • You are able to work independently, with little supervision and meticulously.
  • You value high-quality work, consciousness and reliability.
  • You have great attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • You possess excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping Management:
  • Execute financial and accounting procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records, accounting controls, and general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant legal regulations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Assist external accountants with account closures, VAT, and tax reports.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Data Maintenance:
  • Update and maintain financial data in the accounting and finance systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Financial Monitoring and Planning:
  • Support financial monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial and accounting processes and systems
