POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting and Payroll Analyst to join our finance team. This important role will provide comprehensive support across general accounting, payroll processing, and data analytics, while also supporting benefits and pension administration. The Analyst will stretch across multiple accounting functions, including general accounting, and ensuring seamless integration between payroll systems and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with ADP payroll systems and a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex tasks effectively will be essential for success in this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, and data analysis, with a strong understanding of payroll and benefits regulations.
  • Experience in full cycle accounting and accounts payable
  • Expert user of Excel with advanced functions and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficient in ADP payroll software; experience with other payroll systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pension plan administration and compliance.
  • High degree of curiosity and some experience using A.I. tools to assist with data review and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in payroll or benefits administration (e.g., CPP, CPM).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
