As an Accounting and Tax Specialist, you will support the administrative tasks related to our client’s billing and accounting processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Studies: High School Degree is required. Desirable studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, etc. Additional studies are also considered.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in an administrative or accounting role (tax-related). Having experience in logistics is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Experience with Accounting Software Systems is a big plus.
- Language: Very good English skills. B2 or higher is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Handle tax preparation, filing, and compliance for U.S.-based entities.
- Support the team during the busy tax season by meeting deadlines and delivering quality work.
- Apply CPA or CPA-equivalent expertise to maintain accounting standards and practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial insights.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and tax issues.
- Ensure adherence to relevant financial and tax regulations.
