Accounting Assistant

We are offering a contract/contract to hire opportunity at an Outdoor Equipment Manufacturing company in Hopkins, Minnesota. They are looking for immediate help in the following areas:

• Accurately processing weekly payroll
• Handling administrative duties such as managing office supplies and responding to phone calls
• Conducting data entry tasks and verifying the entered data for contracts
• Managing accounts payable
• Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger
• Processing customer credit applications with efficiency and accuracy
• Maintaining updated and correct customer credit records
• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries promptly
• Managing billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Utilizing accounting software like QuickBooks, Paychex, and Excel efficiently for various accounting functions.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or related field
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with basic accounting functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of General Ledger procedures and maintenance
• Experience in Domestic Payroll processing
• Familiarity with Billing processes and procedures
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
