Accounting Assistant

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in the Agriculture industry, situated in Reedley, California. As the Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for heavy data entry, assist with payroll processing, and front office help.

You must have strong data entry skills, basic payroll experience, front office/receptionist experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of CaseWare
• Familiarity with Concur
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Capability to handle Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in Auditing
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• An educational background in accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of agricultural industry would be an advantage.
