As an Accounting Assistant, you will need professional experience with QuickBooks and some experience with Excel.
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION
- Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and office management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop and Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
- Must be detail driven, well organized, and highly motivated.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines.
- Must be a fast learner and show strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent education
- 1-2 years’ experience in accounting
EXPERIENCE:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (required)

Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts.
- Collect data, calculate, and process contractors’ payments and commissions.
- Verify and process vendor’s bills and expenses reimbursement.
- Track and collect outstanding receivables.
- Sort out and categorize credit card expenses correctly.
- Post journal entries and reconcile bank accounts at regular basis.
- Assist in preparing financial reports by collecting, compiling and analyzing data from internal system.
- Ad-hoc work as per required.
