REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in finance / Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position (Fresh Graduate are also welcome to apply)
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication abilities
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle
  • Experience in Fintech or E-commerce industry will be a plus
  • Can work with minimal supervision in an entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, reconcile, and post outgoing payments via bank transfer, e-wallet, etc.
  • Prepare financial supporting documents for the transactions
  • Communicate with external clients via email, respond promptly to their requests and answer any related queries
  • Reconcile and post accounts payable and accounts receivable entries into our accounting system (Netsuite)
  • Responsible for improving the workflow and automation process to ensure that routine tasks are being done effectively and constantly find ways to increase efficiency without compromising on quality
  • Assist with audits and any other ad-hoc tasks
