Accounting Associate

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Associate in the heart of GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio. As an integral part of our team, your role will primarily focus on accounts receivable tasks, credit analysis, and providing backup support for accounts payable tasks in an on-site working environment.

• Accurate recording of checks and scanning to bank for cash
• Efficient recording of ACH’s payments
• Regular monitoring and management of all AR aging
• Timely preparation of invoices and open orders
• Regularly conducting tax exemption reports
• Carrying out comprehensive credit analysis
• Providing backup support for the AP person when required
• Managing customer applications and maintaining accurate records
• Efficiently addressing and resolving customer inquiries
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
• Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Collections and Invoice processing
• Proven ability to handle Payment Processing tasks effectively
• Knowledge of Tax exemptions related to accounting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field is preferred
• Prior experience in an accounting role is advantageous.
