Accounting Clerk - $19 p/hr
An Accounting Clerk is responsible for monitoring the workflow of accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable billings, and income audit postings, as well as performing month-end duties in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As an Accounting Clerk, you would be responsible for monitoring the workflow of accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable billings, and income audit postings, as well as performing month-end duties in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare and complete all month-end responsibilities, including but not limited to, preparing reports and balancing accounts
  • Receive and process all accounts payable invoices; monitor all rejected invoices and work with hotel management to resolve
  • Balance and invoice monthly contracted airline room nights
  • Monitoring credit approvals for events and groups upcoming
  • Prepare all property billed accounts receivable invoices for clients in a timely manner
  • Post corrections for revenue or expenses as received from approved templates
  • Prepare daily revenue journal entries
  • Prepare daily deposit from cash sales or balance deposits to revenue systems
