Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting Clerk assists the Accounting department with day-to-day accounting duties including A/P, A/R, payroll, and other activities.
Please note that this position has a 180 day introductory period.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to speak/read/write proficient English.
Knowledge of or the ability to learn Microsoft Office/Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamic GP (Formerly Great Plains).
Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Works well under pressure and with deadlines; ability to multitask.
Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Honesty, integrity, reliability, confidentiality, punctuality.
Thorough knowledge about companys mission and services.
Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Free from drug and alcohol abuse.
Responsibilities:
Inputs information into computerized Accounting Software system.
Prepares payroll on a semimonthly basis and maintain changes between payrolls.
Prepares necessary information for monthly billing and mail to appropriate contractor.
Researches and obtains back-up documentation for credit card charges and credits.
Files of financial documents.
Ensures proper mailing of accounts payable and financial documents.
Responsible for updating various financial files and records.
