Amherstburg Chevrolet Buick GMC (2016) Limited is hiring a Full Time Accounting Clerk. The address is 432 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, ON N9V 3R2.

Job Duties:

  • Creating & Posting Wholesale Deals
  • Posting of New, & Used Deals
  • Updating Sales commission on individual commission sheets for payroll purposes in the system.
  • Issue on-demand cheques as required through the day when needed
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Oversee incentive receivable accounts and update team with outstanding balances
  • Assist Controller with Month-End/Year-End preparatory work
  • Reconciling various ledger & subledger accounts
  • Assist in completing monthly flooring reconciliation
  • Reconciling after markets warranties and processing payments

Requirements:

  • Accounting Clerk/Accounting Assistant experience in a dealership is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of debits and credits, journal entries, data entry, payroll management, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with the ability to navigate through other online platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Driven, independent and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work extended hours during month-end cycles

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00/HR to be determined based on experience & knowledge
