    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and work closely with our President of a private company.
    As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bookkeeping and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, statements, and reports
  • Review and verify the accuracy of various financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Assist in the inputs to prepare and submit tax remittances and other financial documents to regulatory authorities
  • Collaborate with the President to develop and enhance internal control procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar financial role
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficient in Simply Accounting as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
  • Must sign Confidentiality Agreement
