Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong background in accounts payables (AP), accounts receivables (AR), invoicing, billing, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in managing all facets of accounting operations, and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the day-to-day accounting procedures, including AP, AR, invoicing, billing, and financial reporting.
Record and verify financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved accounting procedures.
Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for senior management.
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately.
Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses of the organization.
Perform customer and vendor reconciliations, maintain general ledger, and assist with yearly audit preparations.
Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.

Ensure timely customer payments and liaise with the sales team to resolve any missed payments.

  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Familiarity with Billing procedures
  • Proficiency in Data Entry
  • Experience in Invoice Processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
  • Familiarity with accounting software is beneficial.
