Description:

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk, based in Green, Ohio.
This position involves handling a wide range of order processing duties and accounting tasks. These tasks include reviewing and entering product orders into the software system, creating budgets, submitting documentation to contract administration, and assisting with special projects. The person holding this position is also expected to maintain professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information and is responsible for backing up other positions as needed.

Basic requirements for this position include a high proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills, as well as 1 to 3 years of experience working with sales contracts. The candidate must also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of responsibility. The best-suited candidate for this position would have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and has previous experience with Microsoft Solomon and/or SAP. However, experience in the field can be considered in place of a degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the security industry
  • Proficient in billing practices and procedures
  • Capable of performing data entry tasks with high accuracy
  • Experience in invoice processing is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Knowledge of SAP software is a must
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains Solomon software is beneficial
  • Experience handling commercial contracts would be advantageous
  • Previous exposure to contract administration is preferable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
