Description:
We are in search of a meticulous Accounting Clerk to be a part of our team. The role is based in Wayzata, Minnesota, 55391, United States, and involves significant responsibilities within the accounting sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of accounting duties, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer credit applications, ensuring efficiency in all procedures
- Maintain customer credit records with utmost accuracy, updating them as necessary
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Monitor customer accounts diligently and take appropriate action when required
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure all vendor invoices are entered correctly
- Manage relationships with multiple vendors, maintaining clear and open communication
- Perform account reconciliation duties, ensuring all financial records are in order
- Execute check runs and manage cash effectively
- Prepare and enter journal entries as required
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for data entry and invoice processing.
- Possess skills in account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
- Experience with accounts payable (AP) to manage company expenses
- Proficient in data entry, ensuring accurate and efficient record keeping
- Experience with invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
- Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for effective financial management
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Experience in entering vendor invoices to ensure accurate record keeping
- Ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously
- Experience with check runs to manage company payments
- Proficiency in journal entries for accurate financial record keeping.
