Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Accounting Coordinator, you will play a key role in our finance team, reporting directly to our Controller. This position offers some flexibility and an opportunity to grow your accounting expertise while working alongside a senior accountant. Whether you’re looking to expand your skills or seeking a role with a balance of work and personal life, this position offers great potential!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process accounts payable invoices, including coding and posting
  • Prepare and manage cheque and deposit processing
  • Maintain accounts receivable (AR) and collect outstanding balances
  • Organize and maintain financial filing systems
  • Prepare internal financial reports as required
  • Generate weekly sales performance and GAP analysis reports
  • Analyze order history to identify sales opportunities
  • Ensure financial record-keeping with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
  • Prepare monthly sales reports
  • Liaise and coordinate promotional schedules with the sales team
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities based on sales report analysis
  • Ad hoc projects and coverage for other team members
