Description:
Kimberley Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Accounting Data Technician. This is seasonal position, working part time (15-20 hrs/week) from December 2024 to April 2025. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and be a team player. The Accounting department is responsible for all resort level accounting functions. In addition to the core operations of ski and golf, Accounting also supports business units that include restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental, ski school, hotels and a conference facility.

- Cash handling experience
- General accounting experience an asset
Responsibilities:
- Cash Audit – reconcile cash outs and sales from all departments.
- Prepare, issue, collect and balance departmental floats.
- Make change accurately
- Manage office supplies inventory for the resort
- Accounts Payable – Receive vendor invoices and forward to appropriate department, review GL codes, combine invoices and send to Calgary for processing twice a week.
- General Accounting duties such as filing, helping departments with solving cash out issues.
- Other duties in administration as assigned
