Description:

Nuventura has developed a new generation of medium voltage switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable. The existing product line is in the process of being expanded in new development projects as well as a global application-scaling of existing designs. For this expansion we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accounting Executive (f/m//x).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Financial Finesse: 4+ years of experience in financial closings and bookkeeping, with a strong grasp of HGB.
  • Software and Data Mastery: Advanced skills in Excel for effective financial data analysis, proficiency in financial, accounting, and business systems software (especially DATEV and DUO), and experience in introducing ERP systems.
  • Communication Competence: Strong language skills in both German and English for seamless communication in our global team.
  • Expense Management: Proven ability to manage expenses and enforce budget guidelines.
  • Regulation Readiness: Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Detail-Oriented: Precise in analysis and reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Guiding Hand: Provide financial guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Budgeting Brilliance: Contribute to budgeting and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

TASKS

As the Accounting Executive (f/m/x) at Nuventura, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely finalization of our financial statements and reporting. You will collaborate with various departments, both internal and external stakeholders, to drive financial excellence and compliance. Your responsibilities will span from day-to-day bookkeeping to managing complex financial processes, making this position both diverse and impactful.
You will be an important part of our finance team, facilitating the building of our finance function.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Financial Reporting Precision: Ensure accurate and timely finalization of Nuventura’s financial statements and reporting.
  • Statement Expertise: Derive balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide valuable financial insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders from various departments, fostering collaboration both internally and externally.
  • Tax and Financial Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments on tax and financial accounting issues to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Cash Flow Oversight: Take charge of payments, cash flow, and day-to-day bookkeeping, optimizing Nuventura’s financial stability.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Ownership: Own and manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with meticulous attention to detail.
  • External Partner Liaison: Act as the primary contact between Nuventura and external accountancy firm(s), maintaining strong partnerships and compliance.
  • Global Finance Support: Provide crucial support for finance initiatives in an international environment, contributing to global financial success.
  • Banking and Financial Transactions: Process bank transfers and consolidate accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow.
  • Financial Data Management and Compliance: Maintain organized financial data management, ensure unwavering compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and provide expert financial guidance and support while enforcing budget guidelines.
