Description:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- A minimum of three (5) years experience in general accounting, financial analysis and financial reporting; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
- Experience with Accounting Software, working knowledge of Sage 300
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with exceptional Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup functions.
- Understands fund accounting principles and public accounting standards.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion and experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent analytical abilities and driven to achieve results and continuously striving to deliver the highest performance through critical thinking.
- Demonstrated commitment to being invested in best practice development and be in an innovated thinker with the ability to promote continuous improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and relationship management skills to interact effectively as a team member as well as build and nurture effective working relationships with colleagues, staff and other stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative to proactively identify and resolve problems and issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in an environment that values equity, diversity, and inclusion.
