Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • A minimum of three (5) years experience in general accounting, financial analysis and financial reporting; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Accounting Software, working knowledge of Sage 300
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with exceptional Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup functions.
  • Understands fund accounting principles and public accounting standards.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion and experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and driven to achieve results and continuously striving to deliver the highest performance through critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to being invested in best practice development and be in an innovated thinker with the ability to promote continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and relationship management skills to interact effectively as a team member as well as build and nurture effective working relationships with colleagues, staff and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative to proactively identify and resolve problems and issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in an environment that values equity, diversity, and inclusion.
