COMPANY DESCRIPTION

A Management Company domiciled in Luxembourg which is a subsidiary of a prestigious group, specialized in both traditional asset classes as well as private equity and private debt is looking for an Accounting and financial reporting officer. This leading independent financial advisor has a specific focus on financial advisory, wealth management, and asset management. The Luxembourg office is now composed of around 60 professionals covering a wide range of essential skills in various areas (legal/corporate, compliance, finance, accounting, and risk management), thereby contributing to an efficient and dynamic management of the investments Funds.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Master’s degree with around 2 years of professional experience, preferably as a Financial External Auditor
  • Knowledge and command of accounting principles of investment structures in Luxembourg would be a plus
  • Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and flexible
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • SAP knowledge would be a nice to have
  • Fluent English is required, and French would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

BRIEF ROLE DESCRIPTION

Based in Luxembourg the position will join the Finance team and perform day-to-day accounting and financial reporting duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of monthly accounts and monthly financial reporting
  • Processing of the required accounting transactions, journal entries, invoices and payments
  • Preparation of invoices and payment instructions with related follow-up to monitor cash-flows
  • Preparation of monthly cash and custody/portfolio reconciliations
  • Support in the preparation of the annual financial statements
  • Support of audit process following the Half-Year and End-of-Year book closes
  • Prepare and submit periodical tax and regulatory returns
  • Join the Finance team’s ad-hoc projects
