Job Title: Accounting & FP&A Lead
Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting & FP&A Lead to oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A) as well as general accounting functions, including the monthly close process. This role will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing business performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both accounting and financial analysis, with excellent attention to detail and strategic insight into business operations. This position is fully remote for candidates in the US only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the monthly and annual close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Conduct financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare management reports and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Assist in cash flow analysis, cost control, and financial strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally to provide financial insights to leadership.
  • Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 3-7 years of experience in accounting and/or FP&A.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
