Job Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator will work as part of an HR team providing support to a diverse employee population. You will serve as a first contact for basic HR-related questions by responding to incoming calls and emails regarding general topics related to a variety of common HR processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, HR transactions, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day general Human Resource support to branch employees and branch management staff, elevating questions, and issues to appropriate members of the team.
  • Assists with the annual open enrollment process; provides first-line answers to benefit-related questions or works with corporate benefits to identify answers for employees as needed.
  • Receives initial notices from employees and supervisors for leave of absence requests initial information, and oversee the flow of related paperwork
  • Receives inquiries from outside vendor on unemployment claims, utilizing online tools, to provide timely responses.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS system data changes ensuring the accuracy of all employee records and files
  • Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed
  • Work within the accounting team to create and receive purchase orders, and reconcile vendor account statements. Interface with our parent company’s AP department to ensure
  • e vendor payment accuracy and timeliness. Act as backup for various Accounts Receivable functions including processing cash receipts and generating invoices for customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HR or Accounting experience or similar related field required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Applicants should be motivated team players with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills are required,
  • This Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds independently; position may entail bending; squatting; stooping; kneeling; climbing; sitting or reaching for extended periods of time.
