Accounting Intern (Undergraduate)

We are looking for an ambitious Intern to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail, and may liaise with regional accounting team.

REQUIREMENTS

• A current undergraduate in acocunting / finance studies at local polytechnic / University.
• Strong knowledge in MS Office applications and ERP system: e.g. Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of local regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards
• Ability to handle full set of accounts is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Result oriented and deliver on time in all internal and external deadline
• Team player, pro-active and communicative
• Internship duration for 3 to 6 months.

• Timely and accurate processing of daily receipts, monthly vendor invoices and payments
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions and analysis
• Prepare Credit and Debit Notes for group companies
• Perform monthly intercompany and Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Supporting the audit process and preparing required data, documents, and information
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
