Description:

Responsible for applying check payments from bank lockboxes and balancing receivable accounts accurately, timely and efficiently. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Minimum

  • Demonstrate sound business judgment, ability to work successfully with all levels of associates, backgrounds, and perspectives maintaining good working relationships
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable system, Lockbox application, Vendor Payment Systems and Vendor Book
  • Strong analytical, math skills, broad knowledge of accounting best practices and balancing experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of files, conversations and documents
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high changing environment
  • Self-Starter, highly organized, proficient at multi-tasking with a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition; handle stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and to the organization
  • Manage ones time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently, accurately and on a consistent basis
  • Ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives; to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive and following up to ensure completion
