Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of the treasury function, including cash and payments administration, and liquidity management and debt management.
  • Preparation of cash flow forecast and submission to Department of Treasury.
  • Liaison to Department of Treasury, Western Australian Treasury Corporation, banks and financial institutions
  • Ensure all treasury transactions comply with Department of Treasury / Finance policies and procedures and the GTE 2023 Act, Regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Drive Treasury Management Committee (TMC) agenda and coordinate with Western Australian Treasury Corporation and financial institutions, providing TMC with appropriate and timely information to support decision-making processes, in line with strategic objectives and to mitigate financial risks and optimise financial benefits.
