The Manager, Accounting plays a crucial role in the organization by overseeing the financial activities, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and standards, and providing accurate and timely financial information to management. This position involves leading a team of accountants, managing financial reporting processes, budgeting, forecasting, and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations during contract negotiations
- Assist in the communication of corporate policy and procedures to stakeholders.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and work direction to direct reports to ensure team efficiency and productivity.
- Ensures staff has the information and resources to make successful plans and decisions.
