JOB SUMMARY
This position manages the relevant accounting processes for multiple entities to meet internal and external reporting needs, in accordance with Group Business Control framework, global processes and requirements.
The Accounting Manager is based at our Tetra Pak office in Bogota, Colombia.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager you will:
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to local / statutory reporting
- Supporting the Finance Operations Hub Director and Local Finance Director in ensuring delivery of efficient and effective services to the local site
- Execute processes with the requisite controls
- Adopt global process, best practices and related improvements
- Execute continuous improvement/PSM methodologies and deliver improvements
- Be responsible for the smooth performance of the relevant process
- Identify and implement levels 5/6 process changes: implement global process changes.
- Streamlining and harmonizing the local processes.
- Building an efficient and professional local process team.
- Manage, coach and mentor direct reports to improve performance
- Drive the relevant process making sure on time delivery.
- Participating in cross functional projects.
- Handle escalation.
- Provide Audit support for the local market for local, statutory and internal audits in coordination with Finance Department.
