Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, performing monthly financial reporting, and supporting budget preparations. They will ensure accurate and complete maintenance of financial records, assist with the coordination of audits, and collaborate across departments to manage critical financial data.
ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled timely and accurately.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, providing a detailed report on performance against budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, including job costing and managing fixed assets.
- Ensure timely completion of annual audits with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate with department heads for budget preparation and regular expense reviews.
- Analyze and prepare detailed estimates for material, labour, and other project-related expenses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Review payment schedules, vendor agreements, and monitor cash flows to align with financial plans.
- Streamline accounting systems and implement automation tools to improve workflow efficiency.
- Provide business analysis reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial health metrics for management.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure financial compliance and effective cost management for ongoing projects.
