We’re looking for a Accounting Manager join our team.

The Accounting Manager will report into the Director of Accounting and will manage our various accounting workstreams – which includes but not limited to GL, AR, AP, and Cash Management. This role will drive the strategic agenda for these workstreams by partnering with internal (Accounting, Finance systems, IT, and other functional business teams) and external stakeholders (Outsourcing partner).

  • Develop/improve KPIs to track process activity, flag areas for improvement, and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Working with process operations leaders to monitor and track high risk issues and initiatives within the workstream.
  • Solving/analyzing complex customer/vendor transactional issues and performing complex customer/vendor account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review detailed GL account reconciliations, obtain corresponding support to verify accuracy of the financial numbers and resolve any reconciling items timely.
  • Analyze data to build and monitor performance metrics. Maintain weekly and monthly communications and metrics reporting with Director and business partners. Preparing MBR/QBR for leadership.
  • Create and manage process documents to create alignment within the organization, such as SOP’s. Ensuring that global policies adhere to US GAAP.
  • Understanding system environment, how data flows, and becoming a super user for Oracle AP, AR, and Cash Management modules.
  • Finding opportunities to streamline process, increase automation, and address gaps. Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.
  • 4+ years of work experience as a cost accountant, analyst, or other relevant role
  • Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient in computer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel, MicroStrategy, Power BI and basic data entry and computation. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud
  • Ability to get things done, work independently, manage timelines, actively prioritize and ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Strong Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail
  • Hands on approach, Technology and data driven
