Description:

  • Oversee daily tasks of Cost Accounting and Accounts Payable (AP) staff, ensuring timely and accurate completion of key activities, including landed costs, payables, cost analysis, and month/year-end reporting.
  • Supervise billing clerks for Engineering to ensure accurate and timely billing for services and spare parts.
  • Ensure the preparation of monthly inventory reports aligns with the submission of financial statements.
  • Analyze monthly cost of sales, making necessary adjustments for monthly and year-end reports.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts at warehouses for inventory control.
  • Review warehouse processes to ensure accurate transaction recording and recommend improvements.
  • Provide monthly schedules for supplier advances and coordinate with Logistics to resolve variances or undelivered paid items.
  • Monitor payments to Project Contractors.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audits or reconciliations as needed.
  • Monitor landed cost computations and analyze monthly cost and inventory reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date Accounts Receivable Aging reports.
  • Ensure all collections are appropriately allocated to client accounts.
  • Oversee monthly bank reconciliations and ensure adjustments are recorded.
  • Monitor recording and inventory of Fixed Assets.
  • Audit and review financial reports from Middle East branches.
  • Evaluate and improve controls, systems, and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Experience with top-tier External Audit Firms is required.
  • Broad experience in Accounting, including General Ledger, Subsidiary Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Taxation, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, Costing, and P&L Preparation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work closely with Sales teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
