Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager with a solid background in the banking or financial services industry. The ideal Accounting Manager candidate should be responsible, reliable, and able to oversee daily transactions, perform financial analysis, and manage our accounting department. The Accounting Manager role is hybrid and will supervise remote support staff, it is a plus if you have previously managed and developed remote staff.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing routine daily transactions, including bank reconciliations, payrolls, and ledger entries.
Leading and overseeing the operations of the accounting department.
Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Assisting in high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
Implementing and enforcing advanced financial reporting systems and controls to comply with legislation.
Manage and coordinate budgeting and management processes.
Working with the team to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conducting timely and detailed reviews of financial reports by overseeing analytical studies, audit reviews, forecasts, and annual reports.
Monitoring all regulatory and industry developments that may affect the company’s financial operations.
The successful Accounting Manager will possess excellent communication skills and will display a high level of trust, responsibility, and commitment to maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in finance/accounting
  • Proficiency in financial software and databases
  • Strong understanding and experience with annual budget planning and implementation
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High level of professionalism and strong work ethic
