Description:
We are partnering with a construction firm in their search for an Accounting Manager. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects from a financial aspect.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project accountant
- Collaborate with project managers to resolve issues
- Coordinate with senior management to assist with project budgets and goals
- Oversee project invoicing, ensuring compliance with contract terms
- Review and approve invoices
- Manage project cash flow, ensuring timely payment of subcontractors and vendors
- Utilize accounting software and other related tools
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, billing functions
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 4+ years’ accounting experience in the construction (or closely related) industry.
