Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. This role is integral to our team, overseeing the general accounting process, including month and year-end closing, budgeting, accruals, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. The Accounting Manager will also collaborate with the Controller to complete the annual audit of the company as well as the Employee Retirement Plan Audit.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the complete month and year-end close process, ensuring financial records are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Lead the processing and accounting for all payroll-related transactions, providing direction as needed.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, reviewing all letters of credit in conjunction with the staff accountant.
  • Oversee daily banking transactions and manage Treasury for U.S. operation, including all cash and investment activity.
  • Develop and produce monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and others.
  • Lead the annual operating budget process, including determination of labor capacity requirements, detailed analysis of requirements to calculate overhead and labor rates, and communication of department budgets to department managers.
  • Manage key reserves and accruals and all general ledger maintenance, including financial statement mapping.
  • Oversee year-end close process, including all ERP maintenance and any related financial audit issues.
  • Utilize accounting software systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and other tools for efficient and accurate accounting functions.
  • Collaborate with various department managers, developing broad-based personal knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in the accounting field
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must
  • Familiarity with BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is vital
  • Must be adept with Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Auditing skills are essential for this role
  • Working knowledge of Billing Functions and Annual Standard Cost is expected
  • Proficiency with Epicor and Epicor Erp is required
  • Experience with Ceridian software is a plus
  • Understanding of the Manufacturing sector is beneficial
  • Ability to handle Annual External Audit and Cash Management tasks is necessary
